On the left? The phone we lovingly refer to as the "Brick Phone." We used to sell them. That's how long we've been in the business.
When we started in the business, the big debate was whether or not you wanted a phone installed in your car, carried in a special bag (that weighed 6 pounds and had a giant battery), or you were a real trend-setter and you wanted the brick which, at a mere 2 pounds, gave you the freedom to move about without worrying about being tied down.
29 years later, the phones we carry in our pocket are more powerful than the computers on our desks were when the "brick" was an unachievable luxury for most people.
In 1991, we had 2 stores and 6 employees. Over time that grew until our retail business expanded into one of the largest wholesale cellular businesses in the country. By volume, CNCG, and our retail division (operating under the names of Wireless Champs, The Cell Phone Store, Cel-Net, Tomorrow's World, and C2 Wireless) are one of the largest T-Mobile sales operations in the country.
Our operations and logistics are carried out via a 60,000 square foot warehouse in Long Island City, and satellite warehouses in Chicago and California, all of which are staffed by some of the most dedicated and knowledgeable people in the business.
